Our prices

We offer you consistently low prices on our entire catalogue of books. "Our Price", as displayed, is inclusive of UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Most titles on sale in TheBigBookshop.co.uk are offered at 22% below the publisher's list price. Gambling books, which are specially sourced for TheBigBookshop.co.uk from around the world are not discounted, but special offers are available from High Stakes.

When we charge your card

We do not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch your order. If you have paid by cheque and we owe you a full or partial refund, we will send a refund cheque for the correct amount.

What we do about mispricings

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue are mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures.

If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the item.
If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we contact you for instructions before dispatching.

Confirming availability and price

As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items you order turn out to be unavailable.

We cannot confirm the price until you order, but please note that we do NOT charge credit or debit cards until the date we send your order to you.
